Design

A new black and silver design gives a sportier, more refined ambience. The instrument panel has a stylish black keynote colour and sharp silver details. With a form that conveys dynamism and details that convey refinement, it gives the cabin a fresh kind of appeal.

Wheels 

The new Swift GLX model comes with newly developed 16-inch aluminium alloy wheels with newly developed 185/55R16 low-profile tyres. The Swift GA and GL models have newly developed 15-inch steel wheels (full wheel caps) with 175/65R15 tyres.

Fog lights

The Swift has the added reassurance and safety of fog lamps when driving in fog or low vision conditions. Available on GLX model.

Interior

High-grade Meter Cluster with Tachometer

The information display shows the instantaneous fuel consumption, the average fuel consumption, the range on remaining fuel, the shift position (with an automatic transmission), an odometer, a tripmeter, the outside temperature, and the time.

Keyless Start System

Keyless push start system allows the driver to start and stop the engine by pushing a button on the instrument panel; there's no need for a key.

Tilt and Telescopic - adjustable sterring wheel

The steering wheel has a 36mm range of telescopic adjustment. Combined with 40mm of up-down adjustment in the steering wheel and with adjustability in the driver's seat, the new telescopic adjustability accommodates all drivers.

Compact Keyless-start Transmitter

A new, more compact design makes the keyless start transmitter easier to carry. The keyless-start transmitter not only allows keyless starting and stopping of the engine; it also allows keyless unlocking and locking of the doors by pushing a button on the door handle.

Climate control air conditioner

GLX has an air conditioner that automatically controls the air temperate, fan speed, and vents to keep the cabin at the user's desired temperature.

Engine

1.4-litre, 4 cylinder VVT engine. Delivering top performace, excellent fuel efficiency, low emissions and superior NVH (noise, vibration amd harshness) performance.

Treads and wheelbase

The new Swift has a new wide-tread and a short-wheelbase. The new dimensions combined with increased rear suspension firmness increase straight line stability and enable better cornering stability.

Safety

SRS airbags

The Swift has seven airbags as standard equipment including newly equipped knee airbags. Plus, the new Swift has a whiplash mitigating front seat design that supports the neck and head in the event of rear impact.

Body - TECT

The new Swift reflects an evolution of Suzuki's proprietary Total Effective Control Technology (TECT). Extensive use of high-grade steel in the new Swift ensure a higher level of impact safety.

Front seatbelts with pretensioners

The front seatbelts each have a pretensioner, which instantaneously tightens the belt in the event of frontal impact, and a load limiter, which then optimally controls the tightness of the belt to mitigate the severity of chest and head injuries.
